Lora is a text serif by Cyreal with roots in calligraphy. Its curves look brushed, its serifs are firm, and the contrast between thick and thin strokes is moderate, so the letters hold up at small sizes on screen. It feels literary without looking old-fashioned. It suits blogs, essays, book-style pages and invitations.

You get six static styles in the ZIP: Regular, Medium, SemiBold, Bold, Italic and Bold Italic. The italics are drawn as real italics, not slanted versions of the upright, so emphasis inside a paragraph reads naturally. The family covers Latin, Cyrillic and Vietnamese.

Lora can carry a whole page on its own, with Bold for headings. For more contrast, set headlines in Playfair Display or Abril Fatface. With Oswald headlines it gets a newspaper feel, and Inter is a good match for buttons and labels around Lora body text.
